We have finished our conversion kit for the popular Prowler Big Game, We start with a Minn-Kota  motor, mounted to an aluminum motor bracket bolted directly to the top of the kayak, we do not use the rudder mounts as they can't support the weight of the motor, and the throttle control is in the cup holder. What a joy it is having not to paddle this large kayak. With the battery mounted in the front hatch, adds weight to the front of the Prowler to help gets rid of some of the hull slap. The PBG is difficult to maneuver with paddles, but with the conversion it was nimble enough to weave its way around my local train trestle while crabbing.

Installation time is about 3-5 hours; everything is included except the battery.
