The Pungo kit has an aluminum motor mount bracket that holds a Minn-Kota Endura 30 trolling motor, the 5 forward / 3 reverse , speed control is mounted in the cup holder , the steering is controlled by the trigger lock foot pedals. The Aluminum parts are powder coated to control corrosion, Marine grade wiring harnesses, sealed waterproof motor, make this kayak perfect for lakes and rivers including inshore saltwater.

In testing the speed in 1st speed was 2.0 mph, each additional step has yielded about .5 mph up to the 5th speed and top speed is about 5.5 mph

Depending on the battery and choice of throttle control, run times of 10hrs. Are not out of the question. The battery mounts behind the seat, batteries upto a group 24 (79 Ahr) will fit or use 2 55Ahr  (110Ahrs) batteries for ever longer run time.

Tracking was very good, Handling is fantastic
